Adding Products
Add and manage products on your Deiza website
Adding Products
Deiza lets you display and sell products directly on your website. Products live inside a Products section and are managed from the Products tab in the customization panel.
Step 1: Add a Products Section
If you don't already have a products section on your page:
- In edit mode, click the + button between sections or choose Add Section Below from any section menu
- Go to the Commerce category in the Add Section modal
- Select Products
- AI generates placeholder products based on your business context
You can also use Services, Pricing, or Donation Tiers sections — these all support payment links.
Step 2: Open the Products Tab
Once a products (or payments-compatible) section exists on your page, the customization panel shows a Products tab:
- Click the paintbrush icon to open the customization panel
- Select the Products tab (may also appear as "Menu" or "Payments" depending on your section type)
Managing Individual Products
Each product card in the Products tab shows:
- Product name — shown on the website
- Description — short text below the name
- Price — displayed with a currency symbol (see Product Pricing)
- Image — optional product photo
- Checkout URL — the link customers click to purchase (see Payment Links)
- Stock — optional stock count; leave blank for unlimited
- Badge — optional label like "Bestseller" or "New"
- Features — bullet points shown on pricing-style cards
- Requires shipping address — toggle on if the buyer must provide a delivery address (see below)
- Max quantity per order — set a number to show a quantity selector on the buy button; leave blank to hide it
Adding a New Product
- In the Products tab, click Add Product at the bottom of the list
- A new blank product card appears
- Fill in the name, description, and price
- Add an image by clicking the image upload area on the card
- Add a checkout URL (see Payment Links)
Removing a Product
Click the trash icon on any product card to remove it. This removes it from the website immediately.
Reordering Products
Drag products up or down within the list to change the order they appear on your website.
Payment Provider
Before products can accept payments, you need to choose a payment provider. This is set at the top of the Products tab. See Payment Links for a full guide to each provider.
Requires Shipping Address
Toggle Requires shipping address on for any physical product that needs to be delivered. When enabled:
- Buyers are taken through the Deiza checkout page before reaching the payment provider
- The checkout page includes a required address form (street, city, state, postal code, country)
- The delivery address is saved to the transaction record in your Transactions dashboard
- You can view the full address when confirming or reviewing the order
Leave this off for digital products, services, and appointments where no delivery is needed.
Quantity Selector
Set a Max quantity per order number to allow buyers to select how many units they want. When set:
- A +/− stepper appears on the Buy Now button on your published site
- Buyers can select between 1 and the max you set
- The transaction records the quantity and computes the correct subtotal automatically
- Stock is decremented by the quantity purchased, not just by 1
Leave the field blank to hide the quantity selector (the order will always be for 1 unit).
Deiza Checkout Badge
After generating payment links (or entering a manual URL), some product cards show a small "Deiza checkout enabled" badge below the URL field. This means the buy button on your site will route through a Deiza-hosted checkout page before redirecting to the provider. This is what enables:
- Shipping address collection
- Quantity selection
- Automatic transaction creation and completion tracking
Products without this badge go directly to the external payment link. If you expect to see this badge but don't, try saving the page and refreshing the editor.
Auto-Save
All product changes are auto-saved. See Auto-Save for how this works.
