Set up automatic invoicing for ongoing services.

When to Use Recurring Invoices

Perfect for:

  • Regular maintenance
  • Ongoing consulting

Creating a Recurring Invoice

  1. Create a new invoice
  2. Toggle Make Recurring
  3. Set frequency:

- Weekly

- Monthly

- Quarterly

- Yearly

  1. Set start and end dates
  2. Save

Recurring Options

Frequency

How often to generate invoices

Duration

  • Forever (until cancelled)
  • Fixed number (e.g., 12 months)
  • Until specific date

Auto-Send

  • Draft only (review before sending)
  • Auto-send (send automatically)

Managing Recurring Invoices

View All Recurring

Go to Invoices > Recurring to see:

  • All recurring schedules
  • Next invoice date
  • Client
  • Amount

Editing

Changes apply to:

  • This invoice only
  • This and future invoices
  • All invoices in series

Stopping

  • Pause: Temporarily stop
  • Cancel: Stop permanently
